A great weekend of solos, ensembles, quartets and band playing.
The Guild 2017 has been great for the band an opportunity to show case the talents in the band.
On the Saturday afternoon we saw – Class B5. Brass Ensemble (up to Year 10) THIRD PLACE WINNERS – Douglas Town Junior Band playing ‘Marching the Saints’!!
On Saturday Evening the band had entries in the Open ensemble and quartet classes, and they all gained 3rd place on the night!

On the Sunday – several of the band support Castletown Metropolitan Silver Band with their return to the Guild after not having played for 31 years.
